Mexico: Rappelling & Zip Lining.
This was one of our most exciting days while we were in Mexico. The first half of the day was spent rappelling and zip lining and the second half was spent swimming with dolphins and kissing manatees. I will be back later to share more on the later half of the day. While Mike and I had both been zip lining before, rappelling was a whole new beast. I think what you'll see, as evident in these pictures, is how Mike and I approach new things. I freak out but tend to never let it show. Mike on the other hand, is more confident in wanting to try new things but his face almost always shows apprehension. It's one of the things that never fails and I have plenty of pictures to prove it!
Rappelling came relatively easy to me and I was wishing we had had more than one opportunity to give it a go. The tour made up for it though by giving us twice the time to do the zip lines. We got to go through the course twice! We finished up the first half of the day by swimming in another cenote and eating a pretty delicious buffet lunch. Then, it was off to swim with the dolphins!
