Mexico: Swimming with Dolphins & Manatees.

Boy, oh boy this was a definitely an internal challenge for me. Swimming with dolphins was Mikes one thing that he just had to do. I gladly obliged while my insides turned at the the thought of getting into the water with the massive creatures. I kept my cool as we approached the murky water that housed the dolphins. The enclosure wasn't what I was expecting in the least. It was a far cry from the clear pools you would swim in at the Georgia Aquarium but actually a sectioned off part of the ocean. As we ascended down the stairs into the enclosure my heart was pounding.

Once I met Regina, our dolphin, my fears subsided. She was pretty sweet. We shook her fins, she gave us rides, and even gave us kisses. But her kisses didn't compare to those of the manatees. They were the sweetest, slow moving, veggie chomping creatures ever. We didn't get it on camera, but we also swam with sharks and sting rays. Super fun day! The lasts of the Mexico trip will be up tomorrow!
